Child Safety Standards

These are the published child safety standards of AI Girlfriend: Elle & Moi, an application developed and published by Naleo. They apply to every user, every conversation and every piece of content in the app, on every platform where it is distributed.

Naleo has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) and for child sexual abuse material (CSAM). CSAE and CSAM are explicitly prohibited in AI Girlfriend: Elle & Moi. There is no context, no role-play framing and no fictional framing in which they are permitted.

AI Girlfriend: Elle & Moi is intended exclusively for adults aged 18 or over. Creating an account or using the app requires you to be at least 18 years old. Accounts belonging to, or reasonably believed to belong to, a person under 18 are terminated and their data deleted.

The following is prohibited in AI Girlfriend: Elle & Moi, without exception, and results in immediate and permanent account termination:

• Creating, requesting, describing, soliciting, sharing, storing or attempting to generate child sexual abuse material (CSAM), including AI-generated or otherwise synthetic depictions.
• Sexualising a minor in any form — text, description, image or audio — whether the minor is real, fictional, or an AI character.
• Asking an AI companion to present, describe or role-play itself as being under 18, or attempting to steer a conversation towards a sexual scenario involving a minor.
• Grooming, sextortion, sexual solicitation of a minor, or any attempt to use the app to reach or harm a child.
• Child trafficking, or the promotion, normalisation or glorification of sexual interest in minors.
• Any other conduct that constitutes child sexual abuse or exploitation under applicable law.

AI Girlfriend: Elle & Moi is built so that the surfaces normally used to distribute CSAM do not exist in the app:

• No user uploads. Users cannot upload, send or share images, video or files anywhere in the app. There is no camera access, no gallery access and no file attachment.
• No user-to-user contact. Conversations take place only between a user and an AI companion. Users cannot message, find or contact one another, and no content posted by one user is visible to another.
• No free-form character creation. Every AI companion, and every option in the companion creation flow, is produced and reviewed by Naleo. Users choose from a fixed set of adult characters; they cannot author a character from free text or supply their own imagery.
• Enforcement. Attempts to obtain content that sexualises a minor are treated as a violation of these standards and lead to account termination, whether or not the attempt succeeded.

Any user can report a concern from inside the app, at any time, through Settings → Help & Support, which opens a message to our team. You can also write to us directly at elleetmoi.app@proton.me.

Reports concerning child safety are prioritised over all other support requests. Please include the account involved and, where possible, the conversation concerned.

When we obtain actual knowledge of CSAM in AI Girlfriend: Elle & Moi, we:

• remove the content;
• permanently terminate the account responsible and preserve the evidence as required by law;
• report to the competent authorities — in France, the Pharos platform operated by the Ministry of the Interior, and to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) or the relevant national authority where applicable;
• review how the content reached the app and close the gap that allowed it.

Naleo complies with all applicable child safety laws and regulations in the jurisdictions where AI Girlfriend: Elle & Moi is available, and with the child safety requirements of the app stores that distribute it. These standards are reviewed whenever the app's features change, and at least once a year.
